Bluemoon Gallery is like entering into a different world.
It exudes colour, warmth and soul. An eclectic mix of artworks, ceramics, jewellery and prints.
Inspired by the concept of art touching and healing the soul, owner and artist-in-residence Iaysha Salih created and opened Bluemoon Gallery eight years ago in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
The art gallery features an impressive array of works from key names in British contemporary art, such as Sir Terry Frost, Sandra Blow, Sir Peter Blake and Beryl Cook, through to the fresh and exciting newcomers that Iaysha is so adept at discovering.
As well as paintings in different media, there are prints and a varied selection of sculptures. Beautiful and eclectic gifts are also stocked, many reflecting Bluemoon’s commitment to fair-trade initiatives.
The healing aspect of the gallery is extended through to the workshops that Iaysha runs at Bluemoon. Here participants are encouraged to tap into their own artistic space and, with help and guidance, to create a piece of work that they can then take home.
